2009 Traumas of Law Enforcement: Free Training

With the uncertainty of Federal funding to cover costs for the 2009 Traumas of Law
Enforcement, Concerns of Police Survivors sought support from corporations/ organizations for the 8 sessions planned for 2009. This 3-day, 21-hour training has been called “the Chicken Soup of law enforcement”, “the best training I’ve ever attended in my 32 year career”! Line-of-duty death, police suicide, the traumatized officer, the effects of trauma on the officer, and police disability are all explored in depth to help agencies develop general orders for these “traumas” that affect every law enforcement agency nationwide.
